The Lägerngrat is a rocky ridge path. Often surrounded by greenery, which could hide the abyss a little and give false security. This way definitely requires surefootedness and a head for heights. The trail is considered T3 and is not too crazy now, but it is a very interesting and varied, slightly tricky trail. The path often leads through beautiful forested terrain, but always reveals beautiful views over the Swiss plateau. This ridge trail is a worthwhile experience.

If you want a bit more challenge on the Jura High Trail, choose the route over the ridge instead of the suggested route from Route 5 (Switzerland mobile) (well signposted at the appropriate place). Good sure-footedness and good ground conditions (no rain, snow or wet ground) are absolutely necessary to safely walk through the degree. It could also be a little difficult with dogs, since sometimes only very narrow rock edges serve as a path.
However, it is worth taking this route! :)
