Nice lap with initially still cool temperatures 🥶.
Trails on the Altberg / Gubrist were dry and easy to drive on. Altberg Waldschenke unfortunately still due to, resp. Corona closed 😢.7 days ago

I wanted to explore new areas again and took a tour from Martin & Luzia. Looked promising and lasted even more in the end (almost too much 😉).The tour led along the banks of the Aare and then up to the Linde Linn. The rest was then in principle in a mountain ridge tour of the Schenkenberger valley. Beautiful and sometimes violent trails with great vantage points (Linnerberg, Zeiher-Homberg, Gisliflue). The first part to Hombergegg (Km 27.5) was on forest roads and beautiful trails. Super relaxed and enjoyable. From the Hombergegg onwards, things were different. The route to the gate partly seemed to me like the scenery in "Lord of the Rings", just one size smaller 😜. Gate to Gisliflue then went again. Only the last few meters up to the Gisliflue lookout point (Km 31.1) was pushed. The same thing then for the first meter down in the east direction. Then again beautiful, flowing trails on the ridge path Gisliflue to the waypoint Riedacher (Km 31.8). There you have two options for continuing your journey. I definitely picked the wrong one - continue on the Gisliflue ridge path. A fine ridge followed, pointed stones, various obstacles and steep stairs with hairpin bends 😰. Had to bridge once or twice on foot 😜. Take off your hat to those who drive down there 👍.All in all a great tour with everything in it. And if it is / becomes too adventurous for you - you can almost always avoid it. Thanks Martin & Luzia for the template 👍.

The great spring weather almost forces you to go on tour😊. Well-known area selected but new "branches" and above all (too) many trails built in. Sorry for the many photos. Just wanted to illustrate as well as possible.

It was supposed to be a short lap. But the weather was so ideal that something happened and the round turned into an eight 😎.

Was warmer than expected. Fortunately, only a few obstacles were encountered. However, I was at war with the GPS. Had to put the tour together from parts. Km & hm are correct, only times and averages are a bit weird 😉.

Nice tour with Hörbi and his new hardtail. Weather was perfect. Only the Sahara dust has clouded the distance a bit. Most of the trails have been cleared of storm / snow damage. A big compliment to the forest workers👍. The Reusstrail Mellingen-Birmenstorf is still closed. Parts that are still unsecured are blocking the way.

Snow is a beautiful natural phenomenon, but biking is better without 😊. Apart from a few transverse obstacles, the winter tracks are gone and it got warmer too 👍.

A twice "fresh" tour. It was almost 0 degrees with snow & ice ⛄❄ on the Heitersberg. Made the whole thing pretty fresh 🥶. Then made the return route along the Reuss in a fresh direction. It's amazing how many things look different when you come from a different direction ;-).The tour went via Tüfelschäller-Rüsler-Heitersberg to the Egelsee. Continue to Hasenberg and then down to the Reuss. The trails along the shore were rarely visited today :-). In Fislisbach we visited the polling hill on the Boll and then we went back to the warmth 🔥.
