Very interesting tour. If you are interested in history and especially in the Second World War, you can visit the remains of the West Wall here.

The West Wall was an approximately 630 km long military defense system that was built between 1936 and 1940 and was intended to secure the western border of the then German Reich. Former bunkers, as well as countless ditches and anti-tank obstacles have been preserved to this day. The West Wall ran from Kleve on the Dutch border to the Swiss border. Today, valuable biotopes for flora and fauna have emerged in the remains of the former military defense line.
