Bremen history: Named after the donor of this fountain, the Bremen senator and later mayor (1907-1909) Victor Marcus (1848-1911).
The original fountain was built in 1866, and an extensive renovation including elaborate decorations took place in 1889.
Listed as a historical monument since 1984.

Very diverse attractions and beautifully spacious.
In spring u. In summer you can even find a mobile ice cream stand there on the weekends.
Without navigation it might be difficult to find because it is well "hidden" in the middle of trees. For orientation: approx. 200m south of the mini golf near the animal enclosure. 😀
