The castle complex consists of a three-winged symmetrical building complex in the center of which the clock tower rises above a small courtyard and the adjoining park. The main entrance to the castle is from the west via a bridge. Inside, about 30 of the Gotha court painter Heinrich Martin Deesen created ceiling paintings adorn the majority of the rooms (Wikipedia).

Beautiful little baroque castle, unfortunately not in use at the moment and also not accessible. In GDR times it was a youth depot and had nothing to do with sensible or sustainable use. At the moment (beginning of 2022) it is for sale for €899,000 according to the internet.
