Tips
The west view from the lookout tower on the Kaltenberg is limited due to the tall trees on the summit. For this viewing direction, however, the view of the sea of rocks is very beautiful (didn't even know that the "Small Bastion" is called).

Beautiful beech forest all around on the ascent to the Kaltenberg/ Studenec, but small bastion? - The paving of the path probably comes from the nearby Goldberg/Zlatý vrch.
