Impressive panoramic views over Lake Halden and the Tannheimer Valley, including the imposing Gimpelwand. After crossing the cirque between Gimpel and Rot Flüh, the rocky but well-secured climb to the summit begins. Here, you can watch the chamois and their climbing skills, as well as the climbers attempting the Gimpelwand.Starting point is the hiking car park between Haller and Nesselwängle (fee applies).
Refreshments are available on the ascent and descent at the Gimpelhaus (gimpelhaus.at). The Gimpelhaus also offers overnight accommodation (open during the summer months).

After a short scramble passage you reach the summit. There you have an impressive view of the Alps. The view of the bullfinch is also breathtaking!
