The seventh stage leads along the Nidda River through expansive floodplain landscapes. Here, you'll find plenty of nature to experience, with meadows, small woods, frogs, storks, and beavers. The route passes the Sondermann, a stone sculpture based on a design by illustrator and painter Bernd Pfarr and

The circular route leads through the city forest in Frankfurt's green belt. In the area around the former Oberforsthaus. On this walk you will come across traces of Frankfurt's history and little-known places such as relics of historic forest parks and former shooting ranges. This is where Frankfurt

The audio walk takes you to places that have a historical connection to the siblings Bettina von Arnim and Clemens Brentano, who were born in Frankfurt am Main. In addition, this tour wants to convey something else: The program of Romanticism - the change in perception - is still relevant today. Romanticism

The introductory stage is the longest and most varied section of the Green Belt circular hiking trail. After crossing the Main by ferry, there is a dune landscape, wide meadows and an old oak forest. Struwwelpeter trees and monster acorns, objects of comic art in the Green Belt, are little surprises

Forest, forest and more forest. Past a golf course and the Frankfurt football stadium, you come to the idyllic Tyrolean pond, which is guarded by three Green Belt animals. frankfurt.de/themen/umwelt-und-gruen/orte/gruenguertel/ziele/komische_kunst/jupitersaeule-und-tiroler-tiere

Final spurt: On the last stage there is once again a varied program with romantic parks, views of the Taunus, dead-straight canalized river sections and a weir that has been restored to its natural state. In Sossenheimer Unterfeld it is worth taking a detour to the Chlodwig-Poth complex, an object of
