Hiking Highlight
This spot marks the start of the iconic Coast to Coast walk. The unofficial and mostly unsignposted trail was devised by legendary fellwalker Alfred Wainwright and passes some 182 miles (293 kilometres) through three of England’s best-loved national parks: the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, and the North York Moors.
