Monastery Church of St. George and Mary Lippoldsberg

The former monastery church of St. Georg and Maria zu Lippoldsberg, now the parish church of the local evangelical community, is one of the purest Romanesque basilicas in northern Germany. The medieval monastery church in Lippoldsberg bears the title "Architectural Monument of National Significance". The basilica, built in the Romantic style, is still a very spiritual place today. As a hiker, you can also stay overnight in the hostel near the monastery church.
