The eyrie is currently occupied again by a pair of storks (04/18/2023). You can't see the couple from the Natureum (a collection of native plants - a tour is worthwhile) but you can hear the clattering of their beaks. Storks cannot whistle, sing or chirp like most other birds, so they clatter their beaks. The storks can only be seen from the road high up in the eyrie on an old power pole.
