The highest measured water depth is 12 m, but in summer it is only an average of 7.50 m, and in winter it is an average of 5.50 m. The dammed water surface is a maximum of 125 hectares with a lake length of 3.6 km. The Kinzig Dam holds up to 7.2 million cubic meters of water.

The reservoir is always worth a visit! Beautiful flat with great benches, pedal boat and stand-up paddle rental also available. Snacks and drinks are also available. It's worth it.
