Highly recommended if you want to take Lost Places pictures stress-free. Very friendly owner, there are lots of nice motifs to discover. Bring some time for the tour, interesting but not entirely without danger. The ravages of time leave clear traces of decay.

Hiking

The Johanniter Sanctuary Sorge is a former lung sanctuary between Sorge and Hohegeiß in the Harz Mountains on the Ochsenberg (562m)
Inauguration in 1902
Healing operation stopped in 1967
Later use as an NVA health resort
Retransfer to the Order of St. John after the turn
Horror - Thriller Film Ostzone was made in 2016, which tells the fictional story of this healing facility.
It is often visited by photographers as the "Lost Place Adventure Camp".
The area is leased for 30 years.

Interesting Lost Place, certainly offers exciting photos, but the area is now fenced and you can't get any closer. Signs warn of free-roaming dogs and video surveillance, that was a little too unsafe for me ;-)
