Very nice hike for hot days, on the northern edge of the forest, over fields and forest. There is a bench near the courtyards, from where the view sweeps over the charming Zurich Unterland. If you are out and about early in the day or in the evening, you will see game with a little patience. There are deer and foxes, especially in the Burgacker area, and with a lot of perseverance you can also see badgers. The forest is also rich in woodpeckers, great spotted woodpeckers, black and green woodpeckers, and all kinds of small bird species.
