Great panoramic trail tour
trails.de/tour/vigiljoch-panoramaDemanding mountain bike tour with stunning panoramic views and flowing to sometimes technically challenging singletrack. Conditionally thanks to cable car quite relaxed.Attention: Once in Egger there is a short connecting trail, then the track joins the official bike route "E". It should be noted that this trail is only released from 15 clock for mountain bikers.Tip Restaurant Seespitz at the biotope black paintsSince summer 2013, the newly opened cable car from Rabland to Aschbach offers a consistent and easy mountain bike transport. For mountain bike tours in the Vigiljoch area, this is optimal, because you save a climb of 800 meters altitude. After all, remain from Aschbach to the height of the Vigiljochs still 500 meters. After all, the climb up there on a wide forest path in a constant slope and is completed in the foreseeable future. At Gasthof Seespitz the fun starts: From Trail No. 7 you can enjoy a great view over the Haflinger Plateau and the Adige Valley down to Bolzano. The trail itself is mostly flowing, but also has some technical root passages ready. Arriving at the cable car from the Vigiljoch, the tour makes a 180 degree turn and traverses the slope over the "Eggersteig". Also this trail offers flow at a moderate gradient, pure panorama, but also some short technical something. Once in Egger there follows a short connecting trail, then the route joins the official bike route "E". It should be noted that this trail is only released from 15 clock for mountain bikers. To compensate him no more pedestrians may use from 14 clock. So, if you timed the tour so that you arrive at 3pm at the earliest, you'll have a free ride on your mountain bike. And that's a good thing, because the trail makes (from the quarry) a lot of fun!

Ötzibike: 048 MARZONER ALM WITH LUPO TRAILoetzi-bike-academy.com/de/vinschgau-meran/gps-touren/mtb-touren/048-marzoner-alm-mit-lupo-trail-62Course: Shuttle to the hamlet Freiberg - Uphill Marzoner Alm - Bike Highline Merano - Lupo Trail NaturnsFrom the bike shuttle we drive to the hamlet Freiberg. The first few meters we cycle to the parking saw, an old Brettersäge on 1,480 vertical meters. From here we drive the short distance to the Marzoner Alm, one of the lowest mountain pastures in South Tyrol. Strengthened, we follow the Bike Highline Meran to the entry into the Lupo Trail. Large parts of the contour line are simple forest roads, waiting for us a technically demanding section - the path leads on gravel over some exposed areas. Below the parking Schartegg we have reached the entrance of Lupo and Fontana Trail. Both are well signposted. Technically savvy drivers branch off to the Fontana Trail (S3) after the first part of the journey, but the Lupo Trail (S1) is less demanding. "In bocca al lupo", one wishes oneself in Italian neck and leg break. The trail is littered with loose stones, but still fluid to drive and even for beginners feasible. Beware at the intersections with the road! On wide 4.5 kilometers, it's now through the forest and in the lower part of the brakes are once again required - after all, there are 730 vertical meters to the finish line at Tabland. Let's roll it out on the way back to Naturns, past the apple orchards - a scenically worthy conclusion!
