The Nonnenkirchle was built starting in 1496 by Hans von Ulm, who, under his father's guidance, had already worked on St. Michael's Church and appeared as a master builder at at least three other church construction sites in the central Neckar region. His master's mark in the Nonnenkirchle dates to 1510.
