"Remains of the old city wall can still be seen in Obermarsberg today, including the water tower and the Buttenturm. There were a total of seven fortress towers along the city wall. Other WATCH TOWERS OUTSIDE THE CITY, from which the surrounding area could easily be seen, were the mouse tower and the PRIESTERBERGTURM on the mountain of the same name. "
