Hiking Highlight
Time for a break on the banks of the Diemel in Marsberg: In the Bleichhaus you can make yourself comfortable, loosen the laces of your hiking boots and take a nice break. It is open daily from 2 p.m. (except Tuesdays).
Next to the bleaching house is a bronze figure showing a washerwoman and a child playing. The figure is reminiscent of washing clothes by the river in ancient times. The street name "An den Bleichen" also comes from that time. The washerwoman is part of the sculpture walk through Marsberg. The path offers you a great opportunity for a tour of the small town.
