The Sieben Ahorn is around 753 m above sea level. NHN the third highest mountain in the Vogelsberg low mountain range in the Vogelsberg district in Hesse.
The Sieben Ahorn rises in the upper forest of the Vogelsberg in the Vogelsberg Volcanic Region Nature Park. While most of its summit region lies in the urban areas of Ulrichstein and Schotten, its eastern slope falls into the urban area of Herbstein and the northeast slope falls into the municipal area of Lautertal. Its summit is located 3.6 km southeast of the Ulrichstein district of Feldkrücken, 3.9 km south of the Ulrichstein district of Rebgeshain, 3.6 km north-northeast of the Schotten district of Breungeshain, 5.1 km west-southwest of the Herbstein district of Lanzenhain and 5.1 km southwest of the Lautertal part of the community Eichelhain.On the eastern slope of the Sieben Ahorn at an altitude of around 720 m lies the Geiselstein, a rock breakthrough made of nepheline-leucite basalt with a high content of magnetic iron. 2.2 km south-southeast of the mountain peak is the Taufstein (773 m), the highest mountain in the Vogelsberg, and 2.8 km south, the Hoherodskopf (763.8 m), the second highest mountain in this low mountain range.de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sieben_Ahorn
