The Gumbertusbrunnen contains the source of the Onoldsbach, which flows into the Rezat near Ansbach. A settler named Onold settled there after whom the city of Ansbach was named (formerly Onolzbach or Onoldsbach). The spring was named after St. Gumbertus, who founded the first monastery in Ansbach and is said to have baptized Christians there. In 2003 the spring was redesigned and the well house renewed.
