The US military base in Ansbach (U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach, short: USAG Ansbach) forms the strategic air traffic hub for the US land forces in Europe (United States Army Europe, short: USAREUR) and as such enables a standby platform for a strong Europe; a major USAREUR contribution to NATO and its allies and partners.The task of the US military base Ansbach is to provide administrative support to the military community stationed here.
