A cycle path called the Filstalroute begins at the Bahnhöfle hiking car park and takes you 67 kilometers over the Filsursprung to Plochingen, where the Fils flows into the Neckar. And the best thing is: the route runs without any significant gradients, which is why it is ideal for leisure cyclists.
Oh yes, and if you are now wondering how to get to the Alb plateau, take a look here: landkreis-goeppingen.de/radwanderbus. Between May and October, a bus with a large bicycle trailer runs from Kirchheim/Teck and Göppingen to Reußenstein Castle on Sundays and public holidays. It couldn't be more convenient.
