Hiking Highlight
Mountain peaks above Dossenheim. On the summit there is an old stone tower - a telecommunications tower - as well as a restaurant and beer garden. In the summer you feel like you're climbing the mountain due to the many cyclists in Alpe d'Huez!

Beer garden, good food, playground, animals and a walk-in tower. Always worth a visit.
The v. a. the game dishes. When we're here, we usually take some venison or wild boar ham from the counter.

Great opportunity to rest. Meeting point for hikers and mountain bikers.
Radio tower nearby, but not accessible.
But the White Stone Tower

Steep, challenging path to the White Stone. But it's worth it, even for bikers. And the food is delicious too. I also recommend the slaughterhouse. But please reserve space !!!

The White Stone is 548.9 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Odenwald, north of Heidelberg and east of Dossenheim. On the White Stone is the Weisse-Stein Tower, a 23 m high observation tower that was built by members of the Odenwald Club in 1906 and is now a listed building.

The white stone is 548.1 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Odenwald, north of Heidelberg and east of Dossenheim.
On the White Stone is the Weisse-Stein tower, a 23 m high observation tower, which, when the weather was good, offered views of other high mountains, but has now largely grown over with tall trees. In the vicinity of the tower there is the Weißer Stein mountain restaurant, which includes a beautiful beer garden.

Delicious and really homemade Black Forest cake, even if you are in the Odenwald ...

A good place in summer (beer garden) and in winter (tiled stove) in the middle of the forest. The beer garden and the toilet outside are barrier-free. A colorful mix of people is out and about here, lots of cyclists, families and pilgrims. There is a lot to observe, including animals!

The view due to the glazed windows is not so great. But the stairs are a work of art when viewed from above.
