The Wilhelminenaue is another green spot in Bayreuth and serves next to Hofgarten, Hermitage and Röhrenensee as an inner city recreational area. A water playground, a giant climbing net, a pump track for bikers and a new football field are the main attractions for children. The Hammerstätter lake in the center of the park is habitat for numerous ducks and other waterfowl. For cultural events, a hedge theater, an oratorio and the floating stage will also be available in the future. From the city center, the "Wilhelminenaue" can be reached in a few minutes on foot. And bus stops are very close. Its area corresponds to around 63 football fields.
