At 1,960 meters, the Tamaro is not an extremely difficult summit to climb, but it can rightly be described as an extreme vantage point. It is one of the few vantage points from which, on a clear day, you can see both the lowest (Lago Maggiore at 193 meters) and the highest point in Switzerland (Dufourspitze at 4,634 meters).
