The Steinkopf does not have a summit, but it does have a pile of stones on which a summit cross is placed. You are at an altitude of 570m and it is a nice stopover for a hike in the area.
The path from the Steinkopf to the Eichkopf, about 1.05 km away, is an experience in summer, a truly impressive forest landscape.

Memorial to the crash of a Rosinenbomber during the Berlin Airlift. In addition to the two Americans, Karl Viktor Hagen died in the crash, not Karl von Hagen as stated in the newspaper article linked above.
