The observation tower in Leegmoor is an absolute treat for all moor fans. From here you have a great overview of the entire Leegmoor to Esterwegen. The journey may be a bit bumpy because of the gravel road, but it's worth it. With a little effort and pushing, the Leegmoor can also be driven through from Börgermoor to Esterwegen.

In the bog I always get a feeling like at the sea. There is nothing to hear but wind and bird song - and in front of it an almost endless seeming breadth. Only the waves are missing - but they would be very disturbing here.
