The park "Promenade du Peyrou" is an ideal place to find some peace in Montpellier. Due to its elevated location, a refreshing breeze usually blows on it. You also have a wonderful view of the hinterland and the coast. At 52 meters, the park is the highest point in Montpellier. In the distance you can even see Pic Saint-Loup in the Cevennes, which the "Grande Pyramide" in La Grande Motte is based on. Another attraction of the park is the 21 meter high aqueduct bordering to the west.
