Well and solidly made barbecue area with "buddy table"!
But the real attraction is the "Elchsesee".
Although only a puddle, the elk lake has become well known beyond the town.
Although there is not much water that could rush, the Elchsee has seen rushing festivals ("Elchseseefesten").
Tourists are said to have come to Untererthal by boat and looked for the Elchsee to do water sports there.

The barbecue area is not public for "non residentials" but is publicly described in detail on the site's website:

"The "Leitenbrünnle" springs from a springing area along the Hahngraben with the field name "An der Leite".
The Leitenbrünnle used to be a water dispenser for the adjacent "Länner" (gardens).
For years, the area around Leitenbrünn had been a meeting point for young people from the village.
In order to make this place more attractive, some young boys (the "Erthler") built a bridge made of rubble stones with an oak railing in 1991, which spans the Hahngraben near the Leitenbrünnle.b_elchsee

A year later, in 1992, the young people from the district reshaped the spring of the Leitenbrünn with hewn stones and added the year and coat of arms.
The young people called the dammed water of the Leitenbrünn "the elk lake".
The young people not only visually upgraded the long-standing meeting place, but also made it more inviting with access to the benches set up there around the "Elchsee" and since then it has been the site of the annual "Elchsee-Fest" in summer."
