Rest area at the Marienstatue in Hetzlos

Nice place to rest, but a shade is still missing.

The area in front of the statue of the Virgin Mary was not completely renewed until 2020. At the same time, the seating / resting options between this and the village cemetery were added.Well I wouldn't go here extra; but around Hetzlos there are countless interesting routes for bicycles, mountain bikes and hikers. The benches are a welcome resting place for people without acquaintance in this 300-soul village. - But not in the rain! It is better to go / drive - past the church - a few hundred meters further to the * Hetzloser bus shelter *. That is because it is unparalleled: Large, almost entirely made of wood, full-surface bench, dry, solid floor ... and covered! (Yes, ok: no table and no coffee machine; but you can't have everything ;-)
