Fürstenweg Schaan to Vaduz

At the foot of the imposing Three Sisters mountain range, the car-free Fürstenweg trail meanders along the edge of the forest, connecting the elevated residential areas of Schaan and Vaduz.

The Fürstenweg begins at Planknerstrasse near the forestry depot, and after just a few steps, you'll find yourself in the shady and tranquil forest with its diverse flora. The Dux recreation area invites you to linger before the trail leads past two alluvial fans (scree and debris cones) after a short walk. A pine-lined path leads downhill to the uppermost houses of Vaduz, from where you can either descend directly to the main road via the alluvial fan path or continue through the villa district towards the Red House and finally into the town of Vaduz.
