The Amberger Hütte is located at 2,135 m and is a comfortable refuge of the DAV in the Stubai Alps. It is cultivated in summer and winter and serves as a base for dozens of mountain adventures.

The ascent to this refuge, built in 1888, through the Sulztal is already an experience in itself. And the food is not to be despised. So definitely strengthen before it goes back.

    Opening hours:
    Summer: mid-June to early October
Winter: early February to early May
There is also a winter room which is constantly accessible.

You can stay there very well. There are several room options, shared rooms and dormitory. The beds are comfortable, everything is neat and clean and the food is highly recommended. The spinach dumplings were a dream 😍
