Below the Lützelbach bridge, with which the autobahn crosses the valley near Frankenberg, is the reed pond with its small tree-covered island. After the flood, it was completely renovated in 2016 and now offers a destination again to watch the birds here or to enjoy the sunset. The old oak trees nearby are also interesting - over 6.5 meters in circumference at chest height - hollow and under protection.
