This tower is developed as a small but very fine museum and it can be climbed. From the top you have a magnificent view over the nature reserve.

The Plompe Toren is a late Gothic, 23 meter high tower ("gates", Dutch for tower), located directly on the southern dike near Burgh-Haamstede on the Dutch island of Schouwen-Duiveland (Zeeland). The tower originally belonged to the parish church of the defunct village Koudekerke (not to be confused with the eponymous Koudekerke on Walcheren).

Very interesting and great mini-museum inside. In any case, stop there, if not even install extra in the tour.

The ascent in the tower begins very narrow and steep, oncoming traffic should be avoided if possible :)
