At the Bahnitz bivouac site, water hikers and cyclists are allowed to spend the night in a tent. The overnight stay costs five euros per tent. However, a maximum of four tents are permitted. It is therefore advisable to register in advance with harbor master Lothar Schulz on: +49 172 3074864.

The bivouac site has a toilet and shower as well as a fireplace, for which you can also purchase wood from the harbor master.

.. before that means before setting up the tent! Really great place with a large meadow. Lots of animals to see and hear .. 5 € a night, toilet 50 cents and water. The groundsman is sooooo nice! Just call and 5 minutes later he'll be there ..

Beautiful bivouac site with a swimming area and fire pit. There is a small garden café right in front of it. If you have forgotten to call the groundskeeper beforehand (or your phone has no reception again) you can appease him by lighting his fag. ;)
