The Stadtsteinach bypass road will pass here in the near future. The planned carriageway branches off to the east above the so-called Schießhaus-Berg, passes close to the Röttgen company premises and heads towards the campsite. The local connection road to Triebenreuth is crossed by bridge, another bridge spans the Steinach at this point near the Hochofen property and then runs south past the Salem buildings. The new line joins the existing federal highway 303 at Höfles. The total construction costs for the project are around 22 million euros. Traffic should be opened at the end of next year, i.e. in 2021.
