Bahá'í House of Worship Langenhain

The only Baha'i temple on European soil is located in Langenhain. It is a place of peace and quiet, and people of all faiths are welcome here.

When I was young I had a Baha'i friend whose family didn't celebrate Christmas.

The focus of Baha'iism is the belief in a transcendent God, the mystical unity of religions and the belief in the unity of humanity in its diversity. The Baha'i represent an action-oriented ethic committed to a humanitarian vision of social development and social cohesion.

In addition to the work of Bahāʾullāh, which is regarded as divine revelation, the Baha'i also include the holy scriptures of other world religions in their common religious heritage. According to the belief of the Baha'i, the founders of the religion all draw from the same divine source. The unmistakable differences between the religions are primarily historical: they are seen as an expression of different needs and cultural characteristics.

I find beautiful architecture and the - for me new - idea of the Baha'i really exciting.
