The imperial temple was built for the founders of the German Reich from 1871 onwards. You will find replicas of Chancellor Otto von Bismarck or Kaiser Wilhelm. If you pass through the interior, you come to a viewpoint. From here you have a magnificent view over Eppstein and the surrounding valleys. If you are hungry, you can eat something in the "Ristorante Kaisertempel" (closed on Mondays).

The Kaisertempel is not only a pretty little classicist building based on the model (the porch) of a Greek temple, which is easily recognizable from the city of Eppstein (especially at night when it is illuminated) - it also offers a wonderful view of the city of Eppstein with its castle in the valley and numerous surrounding mountains of the Taunus.
