Tips
Some people think that Lichtenhain is completely offline. That is also true in a certain but positive way.
The place has a great, sunny location in a mountain saddle and can be reached via 2 very beautiful scenic roads that are rarely used. To the northeast, a wide, unpaved road leads up to the Beerhügel.
From there you have a nice view back over the place. There is a bench to rest under a deciduous tree.
The border that used to run directly in front of the village is gone, so that the old connection down to Ebersdorf is also open again as a hiking trail.translated by
