Shortly after Bielstein you pass the nature reserve Friesenaue on the trail "Road of work". A sign about the middle of the way informs about this unique meadow landscape and its flora and fauna. The view from here extends far beyond the lush fields and invites you to take a break in the countryside.

The nature reserve "Auf dem Friesenauel" is one of the few contiguous floodplain areas in the Wiehltal that can still be described as relatively close to nature and has not been designated as a commercial area, residential building land or traffic areas.
