This pretty church in neo-Romanesque style is the landmark of Niederelbert. From several elevated vantage points around the town you can enjoy a clear view of the impressive building. But it is also worth taking a look inside.

Oberelbert had its own chapel as early as 1476, and around 1586 it was even an independent vicarage for a short time. Welschneudorf must also have had a chapel before the Thirty Years' War. The Holler church has a wooden carved statue of a seated Madonna with the baby Jesus, which experts say dates back to the 14th century because of its similarity to the images of Westerburg and Kiedrich. There must have been a chapel in Holler before 1400. However, the Margaret Chapel in Holler was first mentioned in documents in 1548. This church was completed in its current form in 1910.
