The imposing brick building in neo-Gothic style dates from 1870. It is already the third town hall on this site. The town hall is also called the "Red Lion". While the lion symbolizes the power of the judge, the color red stands for the judiciary. In ancient times, court proceedings were held in front of the town hall. To this day, the mayor's office is located here.
