Hachinger Tal landscape park, access on the Ottobrunn bypass.
In 1997, the Unterhaching community acquired a large part of the abandoned Neubiberg airfield with around 126 hectares in order to develop the Hachinger Tal landscape park, a regionally significant park with leisure facilities and recreational facilities, but also to create and maintain areas to protect nature.

The landscape park on the former airfield is ideal for relaxing. The former runway has been preserved almost in full length and is used for all kinds of sporting activities. It is noteworthy that the A8 runs under this line in a tunnel.
At the edges there are biotopes, trees and in the west the Hachinger Bach with viewing hills.
Otherwise a huge meadow that is a sanctuary for ground breeders. In the southern triangle you will find a few bunkers from the time of military use. There are ways to get there. Outside the protected areas, you can also sit down on the meadow.
I particularly like the relative tranquility and the wide view that you can enjoy here almost in the middle of the city.
