Storks, yes, but the Affenberg enclosure is only for families with small children.

Within the paid part of the monkey mountain also Störchefütterungen take place. It is impressive how they circle around the feeding place in the air and then land.

The monkey mountain is a popular destination for old and young. There is a huge park area available for free. Popcorn for the APES is also free. In front of the park there is a large pecker in which one can lavishly strengthen.
Little downer, in the summer time soab in early June, the strong is very much visited. On longer waiting times at the cash register you have to adjust.

The storks are a beautiful sight - especially for the children. When we were there the rattling and the young storks could not be missed / overlooked.

The storks were settled here years ago and find ideal conditions here

By the mid-70s, the white stork had become extinct in many areas. The targeted resettlement of storks is due to the fact that there are again storks in Baden-Württemberg. Also on the monkey mountain could be established by the reintroduction of some breeding pairs in 1978, a free-flying colony. Although the founder pairs have been prevented from making the move and thus have lost their pull, their offspring are moving back to Africa or southern Spain. The traction is genetically fixed. All of the monkeys ringed on the monkey mountain move to the south and winter in southern Spain or Africa. Thus, the majority of monkey mountain winters storks in the south.
