Tips
The Steinknuck trekking site is easily accessible near the village of Fatschenbrunn in a small forest clearing. The space for tents is laid out with bark mulch, i.e. soft ground (longer pegs are an advantage). In my opinion, a very nice place, with a campfire site and table with benches. I brought water from the Trinity Fountain. At least it flows reliably. But there should also be a stream in the forest nearby. However, it was not clear whether there would be water in the summer (Karbach).

Beautiful largely quiet trekking site that is also well suited for hikers with a hammock. A clean spring is only about 200 meters away.
