The Gänsberg is a 557.3 meter high mountain in the Franconian Alb and many springs arise from it on the eastern slope, which at least in spring have a good bed. They feed the Ellerbach and are partly used for the local drinking water supply.

The Gänseberg springs are worth a visit at any time of the year. As a refreshment in summer and with a river bed in winter, especially when the snow melts.
