This diversely designed border point is located on the road from Schlechtsart to Trappstadt with a selfie point, a game idea (telephone to Bavaria), a memorial stone with a linden tree and an information board on the border commuter hiking trail. Very varied and interesting for adults and children. Not an ordinary point like in many places, but really something special.

Here a very worthwhile 10 km long hiking trail "Der Grenzgänger" crosses our path. Best views towards Grabfeld and Thuringia, including information about the border and its securing by the GDR.
