The Hackmann farm, first mentioned in 1519, had two windmills, one of which was demolished in 1879. The second mill, which is still in ruins today, a typical Dutch gallery with a codend, dates from 1874. The mill was removed in 1934, the wings in 1943. Today only the stone ground floor is left. The structure has collapsed in recent years. A look through the side window shows remains of gears, including a large gear. Even if the former idyll is now gone, in my opinion the ruin still has a certain charm.
