The tower is actually always open. There is a box hanging just to the left of the entrance where you put 1€ per person in before climbing the tower.
Just seeing the ingenious wooden construction is worth the euro.
At the top, 32m high, you can push the wooden enclosure up on all four sides to enjoy the great view.
A metal plate attached to the ledge helps you to find out what is where. Please close all hatches again when you leave.
