Quite romantic and hidden lies the ruins of the castle Brandenfels on a densely wooded hilltop. The forest was once cleared here, but since the castle has not been inhabited since the 16th century, the forest has almost completely overgrown the castle. It is forbidden to enter the ruin due to the danger of collapse, but you can also admire it at a few meters safety distance from the path.
